Vice Premier to visit Singapore next week

BEIJING - Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan will travel to Singapore next Tuesday for a series of meetings, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Thursday.

Wang will co-chair the 8th China-Singapore Joint Council Meeting for Bilateral Cooperation, the 13th China-Singapore Joint Steering Council Meeting for the Suzhou Industrial Park and the 4th China-Singapore Joint Steering Council Meeting for the Tianjin Eco-city with his Singaporean counterpart Teo Chee Hean, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu said in a statement on Thursday.
