6 fishermen saved after boat sunk off east China

HANGZHOU - Six fishermen were rescued on Monday after their boat was hit and sunk by typhoon Ma-on off east Zhejiang province.

The boat sank around 5 pm Sunday after the typhoon swept through the East China Sea, according to the border police of the city of Wenling.

People on two passing boats rescued the six by 6:15 pm but their conditions remain unknown.
