Supermarkets in Kunming in Yunnan province have removed all Oral-B dental hygiene products from store shelves, Yunnan.cn reported on Monday.

Procter & Gamble Co, the parent company of Oral-B, recently announced a global recall of more than 30,000 bottles of Oral-B mouthwash products after the company detected microbial contamination, the company reported.

Kunming retailers said they do not yet know how stores will handle expected refund requests from people who have already purchased the products.
