Chinese vice premier leaves for DPRK visit

BEIJING - A Chinese delegation headed by Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang left Beijing Sunday morning for a visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
At the invitation of the DPRK government, the delegation will make the visit from Sunday to Wednesday and attend the events marking the 50th anniversary of the signing of the DPRK-China Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said earlier at a news briefing.
