300,000-yuan reward to help capture gunman

A 300,000-yuan ($46,000) reward has been offered to help capture a gunman who shot a man in Changsha, the capital of Central China's Hunan province, the Beijing News reported Wednesday.

The male suspect, who is 1.7 meters tall, shot the 48-year-old car parts dealer surnamed Zhang in the head and stomach as the victim got out of his car near a construction site in Changsha around 9:30 am on Tuesday.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is now out of danger, according to local authorities.

The reason behind the shooting is unknown and no further details were available.
