Brazilian, Chinese party co-op to deepen

BRASILIA - Brazilian Labor Party Chairman Rui Falco said here Wednesday it is very necessary for his party, as a continuous ruling party, to compare notes on governing experiences with the Communist Party of China (CPC).
Falco said that when meeting with senior Chinese official Wang Lequan, who is a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.
Falco said his party would join hands with the CPC to deepen and enrich the contacts between the two parties and inject new vitality in the Brazilian-Chinese relations.
Wang said the CPC and the Chinese government view Chinese-Brazilian relations from a long-term strategic perspective.
As emerging developing countries, China and Brazil have enormous potential for cooperation and China is fully confident about the prospects of the Chinese-Brazilian strategic partnership, Wang added.
He also said the CPC attaches importance to developing ties with the Brazilian Labor Party and wishes that both parties will maintain the momentum of high-level visits so as to make greater contributions to promoting the Chinese-Brazilian friendship and bilateral pragmatic cooperation.
Wang arrived in Brasilia on Wednesday after wrapping up his visit to Colombia.
