Soldiers practice a drill to hone techniques for capturing drug smugglers in the border areas around Longjing city, in the southeast of Northeast China's Jilin province, on May 30, 2011.

Border security is a priority for the city, which lies on the Tumen Rivr opposite the North Korean city Hoeryong. During the month of May, the border police bureau has been focusing on fine-tuning their team’s anti-smuggling capabilities. Practice drills enable soldiers to enhance their combat skills.
