Man stabs aunt to death after watching dating show

A man in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, slashed his aunt to death in July 2010, because he became excited after watching beautiful women on a TV dating show.

Yang Qing, 34, was chatting with a female friend on the Internet while watching the popular dating show Fei Cheng Wu Rao on the Jiangsu TV channel. Excited by the women he ran into his uncle's home with a knife and attacked his aunt, Meng Lihua.

Meng's family sued Yang in court on May 12 and requested compensation of 270,000 yuan ($41,500).
