Man up a tree draws huge crowd of onlookers

A man, who climbed a nine-meter-high tree on Nanjing Road in Shanghai on the evening of May 14, was detained by local police as soon as he returned to the ground.
By the time an ambulance and fire engine arrived nearly a thousand onlookers had gathered.
According to a security man on the street, the man makes a living by distributing advertisements and he was flushed out by the administrative personnel of the street in the afternoon before the climb.
