(China Daily)
A 28-year-old woman in Huizhou of Guangdong province bought one of the most expensive apartments in Hong Kong recently, saying the property was a gift from her husband.
The 720-square-meter apartment has a 74-sq-m in-house swimming pool and overlooks Victoria Harbor. The price was some 345 million Hong Kong dollars ($ 44.39 million)
Li Jiamin, the young woman, declined to reveal the identity of her husband and claimed her family is not one of the wealthiest families in China.
But she said her husband is involved in many types of business.
The property is not the only property owned by Li. She bought another property in Hong Kong last September without taking out a bank loan.
