JAKARTA - Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao left here on Saturday afternoon after concluding a two-day official visit to Indonesia.

On Saturday morning, Wen delivered an important speech in Jakarta, saying China will strengthen its good-neighborly relations with Indonesia and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.

During his visit, Wen met with Indonesian leaders and both sides pledged to enhance the strategic partnership between their two countries.

The premier on Friday visited University of Al Azhar Indonesia and met with a medical team which participated in rescue operations after a devastating quake hit southwest China's Sichuan Province in 2008.

Indonesia is the second and last leg of Wen's Southeast Asian tour, which has already taken him to Malaysia.
