Old Japanese bomb discovered

Workers lift a bomb, extending 1.7 meters in length and weighing 500 kilograms, out of the ground of a construction site in Liuzhou, in South China’s Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Wednesday. Judging by the attributes of the bomb, local public security authorities believe that it was dropped by Japanese air forces during China’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, which lasted from 1937 to 1945. The bomb was moved to a suburban factory and will be destroyed. [Photo/Xinhua]
