Six dead in truck-car collision in SW China

NANNING - Six people were killed, after a truck collided head-on with a car on a highway section in Wuxuan county, Southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Monday morning.

Police said the accident happened at 6:30 am, and all of the fatalities occurred on the car with a license plate registered in neighboring Guangdong province.

An initial police investigation has found the truck was registered in Chongqing municipality, and the driver was identified as Chen Ju.

Police are continuing the investigation.
