Brazilian president to visit China

BEIJING - Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff is to make a state visit to China from April 12 to 13 at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu made the announcement on Thursday.

Dilma Rousseff will also attend the third BRICS Leaders' Meeting and the annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia, both slated for Mid-April in China's southern island province of Hainan.
