Lottery winner hits $8.4 million jackpot

A man from Zhuzhou, Hunan province has won 55.2 million yuan ($8.4 million) in the lottery.

The middle-aged man, surnamed Liu, said that he felt so excited when he saw the lottery numbers. He double-checked the numbers at various websites to make sure that he was indeed the winner.

Liu has a job and has no plans for investing or opening his own business, but he plans to enjoy traveling with his family. Liu began buying lottery tickets regularly in the 1990s.

He also plans to donate some money to charity.
