National treasures get fresh dusting

Monks put an arhat statue back in its place in the main hall after dusting. The statue represents a spiritual practitioner who has achieved nirvana in Buddhism. The dusting was conducted for the first time in 30 years at the White Horse Temple in Luoyang, Central China's Henan province on March 23, 2011. The 18 arhat statues were national treasures dating back to the Yuan Dynasty (AD1271-1368). [Photo/CFP]
