The Greek vessel "Hellenic Spirit", which carried over 2,000 Chinese and Vietnamese evacuated from Libya, arrived in the Crete Island on Sunday, witnesses told Xinhua.
These evacuees will make a brief stopover on the island before embarking on their journey home.
Chartered vessel "Hellenic Spirit" docked Benghazi port Friday afternoon, followed by the "Olympic Champion", its sister vessel with similar capacity. The two vessels had already delivered the first group of about 4,000 Chinese evacuees to Heraklion Thursday afternoon.
