Carry a torch to light up the school road

A 12-year-old student holds a torch to light her way to school, in Yantang village, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, at 5:30 am on Feb 21, 2011. Zhang Huaying's home is located 10 kilometers away from her primary school on the top of a mountain at a height of 200 meters. She gets up at 5 am and spends more than two hours walking to school everyday. More than 50 of her schoolmates live in the mountain within a radius of 3 to 10 kilometers and have to spend 3 to 6 hours getting to school. [Photo/Asianewsphoto]
