A TV station director who is also an award-winning expert has been accused of plagiarism, China Youth Daily reported Monday.
Zhang Jing, a deputy director from Zaozhuang TV Station in Zaozhuang, East China's Shandong province, is accused of cribbing in 10 of 12 papers published on the magazine "Modern Audio-Video Arts" in 2009 and included in the famous CNKI academic database.
The 10 papers were used in an application for the associate senior academic or professional title, according to the report.
Zhang was awarded the "Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contribution to Zaozhuang 2010".
The magazine's editorial department and the professional title appraisal committee have also been accused of failing to perform proper checks.
Zhang Jing claims she had to quote some definitive papers' views or arguments in writing academic papers.
