Beijing's Young Pioneers to salute Party flag

Primary schools across Beijing will hold the CPC party flag escort ceremony on Monday, the first day of the new semester, Beijing Times reported.

Beijing primary schools hold the national flag raising ceremony every Monday. According to China Communist Youth League Beijing Committee, the CPC party flag will be carried out and receive the Young Pioneers' salute at the national flag raising ceremony held on the first Monday of a month till October, dubbed "League of Young Pioneers Day".

The year of 2011 is the 90th year since the foundation of the CPC, and will witness the Sixth Congress of Beijing's League of Young Pioneers, a meeting that is held every five years.
