A court in Dongguan, Guangdong province, recently sentenced a man to five years in prison with a fine of 10,000 yuan for selling his ex-girlfriend's son.
Zeng, a native of Hunan province, was living with his girlfriend, with whom he had two children, before they broke up in 2007.
Two years after they split, the woman started dating another man, whose child she delivered in January.
Zeng kidnapped the baby boy and sold him to a childless couple for 32,000 yuan.
The court found Zeng guilty of child trafficking.
