China, Russia to use new media to boost exchanges

Huang Bin, deputy director general of the CPC Guangdong Publicity Department and director general of the Guangdong Internet Network Information Office, said: "As a province that has the largest economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges with countries under the Belt and Road Initiatives in the Chinese mainland, Guangdong has developed well both its economy and internet technologies."
Huang said Guangdong will further build platforms to enhance its in-depth cooperation with Russia, especially in the field of culture, to promote exchanges and cooperation of the two countries' media talents to a new level.
China Daily website is hosting the forum with the assistance of Sputnik News Agency and Radio under the guidance of the organizing committee of Sino-Russian Media Exchange Year and the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation.
