China's fixed-asset investment grows 8.2% in the first three quarters

BEIJING - China's fixed-asset investment (FAI) in the first three quarters grew 8.2 percent year on year, slowing by 0.8 percentage points compared with the first two quarters, official data showed on Wednesday.
September FAI growth accelerated to 9 percent year on year, compared with 8.2 percent in August.
Fixed-asset investment includes capital spent on infrastructure, property, machinery and other physical assets.
