BEIJING - The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) said Tuesday that it was considering giving the green light to private investment in civil airport construction and operation.
"The CAAC plans to overhaul the financing model for civil airports to support public-private partnership," said a brief online statement.
The opening-up of the sector is an attempt to improve airport services and boost the market, according to the statement.
