After a woman was reportedly attacked by a man in a Beijing hotel on Sunday, one of the topics creating buzz online is learning self-defense skills.
In Tianjin, more than 80 students are enrolled in a 28-day self-defense course at Tianjiao International Security Academy.
The school, founded by a former soldier in 2008, used to train veterans to be bodyguards in its early days. Now it's teaching ordinary people the skills needed to protect themselves.
