Airbus SAS delivered 90 airplanes to China during the first eight months of 2015 and, for the sixth continuous year, delivery for the whole year will exceed 100, the European aircraft manufacturer said Wednesday at the 2015 China Aviation Expo in Beijing.
Airbus' delivery to China by the end of August accounted for over 20 percent of its global delivery. At the time, 1,185 Airbus aircraft were operated by Chinese clients.
The 90 new airplanes consist of 13 A330 and 77 A320 airplanes, including 33 A320s rolled off in Tianjin.
In 2014, Chinese clients received 153 new aircraft from Airbus.
