A freelancer or freelance worker is a term commonly used for a person who is self-employed and is not necessarily committed to a particular employer long-term. Most freelancers work in fields such as journalism, publishing, photography, event planning, event management and education.
Perhaps tired of the mundane nine to five workday life or maybe yearning for more free time and a more relaxed way of life in today's fast paced world, more and more people are quitting their office jobs and starting to work as freelancers.
Na Niu: Freelance photographer
"Words alone cannot express my heart," said Na Niu (assumed name). With a major in childhood education, she chose to become a freelance photographer because she loves photography.
She has taken photos for almost 100 clients in the past year, and now she can support herself with the income taking photos for others brings in.
