Zhou began his dream as an entrepreneur in 2007 when his team, later INMOTION co-founders, took the FIRA Rodocup during college. The company, established in 2012 after their graduation, has taken over 60 percent market share of the personal transporter business with its core robotic product, Sensor Controlled Vehicle. The company's single wheeled vehicle is aimed at people who commute to work within a 5 km radius. INMOTION announced its Series B financing of RMB$100 million ($16 million) on Dec 5 last year.
