Rosa sky farm carnival started rolling at the River Mall in Shanghai on Sept 26. The carnival aims to bring a fruits and vegetable fantasy to city dwellers.
At the gate of the carnival two massive vines sprout upward creating a Jack and the Beanstalk atmosphere. Further inside there is an Eifel tower made of fruits and vegetables and a garden of Monet. These two sites were built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France.
The month-long event is designed for the whole family, with a specially designated area for children to play in the petting zoo or enjoy the magical show. Adults, meanwhile, can taste freshly made salads, buy organic fruits or novelty gardening tools.
