Wine imports drop 9% in H1 of 2014

Imported wine consumption dropped significantly in China in part due to the country's austerity drive. During the first half of 2014, 132.61 million litters wine was imported, a 5 percent drop compare to last year. In terms of value, $641.45 million worth of wine was imported in the first half year, a 9 percent decrease year-on-year.
