When the President of the United States wants to hear public opinions and suggestions, he invites entrepreneurs, scholars, and grass-root representatives to the White House in Washington DC. The 10 Downing Street in London is the address where the British Prime Minister holds meetings.
Similarly, when the Chinese Premier wants to meet somebody, he invites them to Zhongnanhai, the official headquarters of the Chinese government in downtown Beijing.
Premier Li Keqiang regularly hosts forums at the "First Conference Room" in Zhongnanhai. The discussions enable him to hear public opinions and suggestions about the government.
An increasing number of entrepreneurs have attended such forums since 2013. Additionally, entrepreneurs in new industries, such as Internet and E-commerce, have also taken part.
Let's take a look at some of the big wigs of China's private companies who have been invited into Zhongnanhai since Li took helm of the State Council.
