Chinese shares surge Monday

Chinese shares have advanced more than 2.5 percent in the morning trading session due to brightened economic prospect. The benchmark shanghai Composite Index rose up to 2,181.26 at 11:06 am local Time.
China's industrial profits in the first half year increased 11.4 percent year-on-year, up from the less than 10-percent increase recorded in the first five months, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on Saturday.
