The wind break project on the Dabancheng Wetlands Railway Bridge helps railway facilities withstand high winds of up to 17 meters per second (Gale 7) . The wind break project is 462 km long, accounting for 65 percent of the total length of Xinjiang Section, including 345 km wind break walls on the surface and 95 km wind break barriers on bridge.
