Competition in China's job market has again turned fierce after the Spring Festival break. To help prospective employees choose the best market, Zhilian Recruiting, a large recruitment website has revealed the average monthly salaries white-collar workers receive in some of China's biggest cities. Here's a look at 10 cities where employees earn the most.

No 1 Shanghai

Shanghai, a city that is filled with economic and financial dynamism, takes the lead with a monthly average salary of 7,214 yuan ($1,162.9).
