Huawei eager to expand presence in Belarus

MINSK - Chinese company Huawei, the leading global information and communications technology solutions provider, is considering to open its research and development (R&D) center in Belarus.
Huawei is ready to expand its presence in Belarus, exploring long-term cooperation opportunities including investment projects in the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park, the press service of the Belarusian government told local media after the meeting between representatives of Huawei Company and Vice Premier of Belarus Anatoly Tozik on Thursday in Minsk.
Huawei Company representatives said the company is interested in its multipronged activity in Belarus, including a R&D center, logistics projects, service maintenance and modernization of telecommunications equipment.
