Hewlett-Packard Development Co, the world's second largest personal computer maker, is looking into China's high-end mobile printing market for profit growth amid the deepest slump in PC sector.
The United States company aims for at least two times higher than average growth in the Chinese all-in-one printers market in the coming year, said Jin Weidong, vice-president of HP China.
"We will try to build our leading position in more vertical segments such as banking, healthcare and education, where each area requires customized functions," Jin said.
He added the Chinese channel partners will have a bigger say in promoting value added services.
HP is the top printer vendor in China with the highest vertical segment market share of more than 60 percent.
