The Ministry of Commerce welcomed the World Trade Organization's rejection of US allegations concerning China breaking WTO rules by imposing duties on imported US chicken.
The decision was made in Geneva on Wednesday.
The WTO's dispute settlement panel supported China's arguments concerning the domestic poultry industry and practical price comparisons.
The US government in 2011 challenged China imposing tariffs on imported US chicken. China responded that it took action to stop the US poultry industry dumping products below market prices.
