HONG KONG -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 498. 92 points, or 2.33 percent, at 21,915.42 on Tuesday.
Turnover totaled HK$66.44 billion compared with Monday's HK$38.49 billion ($1 equals to HK$7.76) .
