Chinese stock indices close higher

BEIJING -- China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index on the Shanghai Stock Exchange closed at 2,043.88 points Tuesday, up 39.11 points, or 1.95 percent, from the previous close.
A Share Index: 2,139.35 points, up 41.03 points, or 1.95 percent;
B Share Index: 237.74 points, up 2.78 points, or 1.18 percent;
Total Turnover: 92.7 billion yuan ($15.02 billion).
The Shenzhen Component Index on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange closed at 7,963.7 points Tuesday, up 3.64 percent, or 279.48 points.
A Share Index: 8,996.74 points, up 315.73 points, or 3.64 percent;
B Share Index: 5,151.68 points, up 84.25 points, or 1.66 percent;
Total Turnover: 127.8 billion yuan ($20.7 billion).
