Customs officials seize sportswear, sneakers

Customs officials in Guangzhou seized 3,500 sportswear suits on Monday that were suspected of having infringed the Adidas trademark.
The sportswear was inspected in a container in a vessel in the city's Nansha district before it was due to be shipped to Bangladesh, Guangzhou Customs said on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, customs officers in the city also seized 3,150 pairs of sneakers which were suspected to have infringed the Sebago trademark.
The owners of the Adidas and Sebago trademarks said the sportswear and sneakers seized by the officials had infringed their trademarks.
