Airport will make forest easier to get to

The new airport at Shennongjia, Hubei province, will make access to the forest region more convenient when it comes into operation in October.
Built at an altitude of 2,580 meters, the airport will connect the Shennongjia region to Hubei's capital city Wuhan with a 50-minute flight, Wuhan Evening News said on Friday.
According to Chen Guohua, vice-general manager of Hubei Airport Group Company, the Shennongjia Airport, which cost 1 billion yuan ($163 million), and hopes to transport 250,000 passengers and 1,500 tons of cargo every year.
