Responding to the EU's imposition of an anti-dumping tariff, Chinese solar companies have expressed their anger and opposition to the decision. Speaking in an interview, the President of Canadian Solar Inc, Qu Xiaohua, told media that the decision would harm the interests of both sides.
Qu Xiaohua, president of Canadian Solar Inc, said, "We regret the EU's move to impose a tariff. It won't help EU enterprises. Our company entered the EU market in 2004 and has established cooperation with labs and companies throughout Europe. The products from China are good in quality and reasonable in price. It helps many solar companies to expand and promote the development of the EU's green energy industry. So we feel it's improper to impose a high tariff on Chinese companies."
