Chinese shares close lower - June 3

BEIJING - Chinese shares closed lower on Monday as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.06 percent, or 1.34 points, to end at 2,299.25.

The Shenzhen Component Index retreated 0.07 percent, or 6.71 points, to 9,251.24.
