Organizers of the China Processing Trade Products Fair will launch an e-commerce service to help domestic processing enterprises better expand business.
Liu Xiaojie, vice-secretary general of Guangdong provincial government, said the service will begin with the opening of the fair, which is scheduled for June 19-20 in Dongguan, an important manufacturing base in the Pearl River Delta region.
“The e-commerce service is part of the government's efforts to beef up industrial upgrading for traditional processing businesses in the delta region," Liu told a news brief on Tuesday in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province.
