Chinese shares close higher Tuesday

BEIJING - Chinese shares rose for a fourth consecutive trading day on Tuesday.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.22 percent, or 5.13 points, to end at 2,305.1. The Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.04 percent, or 96.38 points, to 9,403.54.
