Chinese shares rebound Wednesday

BEIJING - Chinese shares rebounded Wednesday after the drop on the previous trading day.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index surged 0.35 percent, or 7.79 points, to end at 2,224.80. The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.69 percent, or 60.77 points, to 8,869.85.
