Bank executives see incomes drop

Bank executives from 16 Chinese public banks saw their income drop by 3.13 percent year-on-year in 2013, according to the Hangzhou-based financial data service provider iFind.
The 419 surveyed bank executives made a total income of 466 million yuan ($75.79 million) last year, roughly 1.11 million yuan per person.
Bank executives at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited saw their pay plunge 39 percent last year, the largest drop. China Citic Bank and China Everbright Bank saw the income of their executives fall by over 30 percent.
Incomes of executives at Ping An Bank soared 59 percent last year and those of Industrial Bank Co Ltd surged 41 percent.
China Minsheng Banking Corp Ltd topped the banks in terms of executive income with 68.31 million yuan while Ping An Bank came second.
Agricultural Bank of China provided the lowest income of 9.74 million yuan.
