Shandong Airlines will get 15 Boeing 737-800 aircraft in 2013 to upgrade its fleet, the company announced on Wednesday.
"The new aircraft will enhance the company's capacity and operation growth," the carrier said.
The listed price of each new aircraft was $89.10 million but this does not take into account discounts from Boeing, the carrier said in its announcement.
The basic rental of each new aircraft will be $360,000 to 450,000 each month on average, if the carrier takes up the option.
The airline has 64 aircraft.
