Chinese shares close lower - April 11

BEIJING - Chinese shares closed lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.30 percent, or 6.57 points, to end at 2,219.55.

The Shenzhen Component Index lost 0.46 percent, or 41.59 points, to 8,920.71.
