HONG KONG -- Hong Kong stocks rose 214.58 points, or 0.97 percent, to close at 22,256.44 on Wednesday.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 21,975.90 and 22, 302.50. Turnover totaled HK$76.23 billion ($9.82 billion). ($1 = HK$7.761)
